The common customer API request limit is 120 requests per minute per credential and 240 per minute per source IP. Individual endpoints and the hosted MCP entry point can have their own additional bounds, so read the exact operation in [API Reference](https://docs.closemagnet.com/api-reference).

A 429 is a signal to back off, not to retry in a tight loop. Follow a Retry-After header when supplied, reduce concurrency and use bounded list pages or an aggregate instead of fetching thousands of records unnecessarily.
