# What is the closemagnet-crm skill?

It is the usage playbook that teaches a connected agent to use your CloseMagnet tools well: the ground rules, which tool answers which kind of question, the id and pagination rules, the error table, and the safe habits.

The tools alone only tell an agent what exists. The skill tells it what to reach for, what it must never claim, and when one aggregate call beats paging thousands of rows.

Any agent connected over MCP receives it automatically as the resource closemagnet://skills/closemagnet-crm. It is also shown as a copyable block at Settings -> API -> API reference, for hosts where a local file makes the guidance stick harder. Both copies come from one source, so they cannot drift apart.
